Inventory is broken into three categories: Products, Lots, and Change Log. This article will explain how to navigate the products section. However, if you have any questions, please reach out to Help@shippingpilot.co or create a ticket

Products:

You can use the search field to locate a product by the SKU or Name. If you aren't using the SKU, put a % before the name. This will allow you to include all products in your search rather than the exact name.

Clicking the filter icon next to the search product field will allow you to filter your search, with or without a SKU or name in the field. When clicked with populate the screen below.

Import: You can import products into Packiyo manually if they are not going to be housed in your eCommerce platform. To learn how to bulk import products, please see: Packiyo Bulk Product Import Form & Steps

Export: You can export the data from Packiyo based on your filter or without a filter.

Filter Options:

Edit Columns: Please be advised that, depending on what columns are enabled, you may or may not see certain information on the main screen. Please edit your columns based on what you normally search so they are visible when you use the filters. Listed below are some commonly used options. Feel free to select your own.

Allocate: When this option is filtered, you will see all items that are:

1. Yes - The item is allocated to an order and is not available to be sold, but is still on hand at the warehouse. The order has not shipped. (To unallocate an item via an order, please see Order Details Page)

2. No - The item is not allocated to an order and is available to be sold, therefore available.

3. All - Will show items that are both allocated and available.

Vendor: When this option is filtered, you will be able to filter based on the vendors in your store. By default, we create a vendor for you, which will usually be the name of your store. You can create additional vendors if you prefer.

1. All - This will filter all vendors in your store.

2. (May not have another option). Any other vendors you create will be on this list. To create a vendor, please see Create a vendor.

Archived: This option is filtered to "No" by default. You will not see SKUs that have been archived (deleted) in Packiyo. Please be advised, Packiyo does not pull in drafted SKUs from your e-Commerce channel. SKUs will need to be active in your eCommerce channel for them to import into Packiyo. If it is active and not showing, please reach out to Help@shippingpilot.co for help or create a ticket. If you need to view an archived SKU, select 'Yes' for this option.

Sell Ahead: Sell Ahead is the count of a SKU that is coming in on a shipping plan that you want to sell, but have not received it yet.  For example, if you have 10 "On Hand", 0 "Allocated", and an inbound is arriving with 100 units. You might want to set a Sell Ahead of 50 of those units, and Packiyo will sync with the sales channel, showing there are 60 for sale once (Available plus Sell Ahead).

Warehouse: We only have one warehouse at the moment, and only one location will show here if the option "All" is not selected.

Tags: Tags can appear on orders for several reasons, both manually and automatically. Some will be applied by the e-Commerce channel through metadata, applied manually in the e-commerce channel or Packiyo, as well as through an automation created by Shipping Pilot. A list of common tags used by Shipping Pilot in Packiyo is listed here: Packiyo Tags.

Backordered: When using the backordered filter, you are able to filter products that have or have not gone into backorder. To prevent orders from going into backorder, turn off the feature to continue selling via your e-Commerce channel. You may have to reach out to your platform's support team if you are unaware of how to enable or disable this feature.

Kit: This option will allow you to filter the kits (bundles of one or more items) in Packiyo. To learn how to create a kit in Packiyo, please see: How To Create A Kit. Please keep in mind that a kit cannot contain another kit SKU as a component. To check if a Product is a "Static Kit" or "Regular Product, you can view the product details for that SKU in Packiyo. To learn how to navigate the product details page, please see: Product Details Page

In Stock: This will allow you to filter products that are in stock or out of stock. They may be out of stock but not backordered. To filter out backordered items, please use that filter.

Enabled inventory sync: This will allow you to filter products based on whether or not their inventory is synced with your e-commerce channel or not.
