Receiving Requirements

To ensure a smooth and efficient receiving process, please adhere to the following instructions.

  1. Inbound Shipment Entry
  2. Advance Shipping Notice (ASN)
    • To streamline receiving and avoid delays, an Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) must be sent to our team via inbound@shippingpilot.co before shipment arrival. Please ensure that your ASN includes key details such as the PO#, itemized list of products, quantities, and estimated arrival time. 
  3. Pallet Requirements
    • Pallets should have a manifest or packing list attached.
    • The PO# must appear on each pallet and should match the PO entered in Packiyo. 
    • Pallets must be standard size (40”x48”x50”) 4-Way.
    • Unacceptable pallet defects (Shipments that do not comply may be rejected or reworked)
      • Missing or broken boards (top or bottom).  
      • Cracks on top or bottom boards.
      • Exposed splinters over 3” long.
      • Nail heads or points that exceed 1/8” exposure.
  4. Carton Requirements
    • Case packs should display the number of units, SKU, barcode, and expiration date.
    • Units should not be mixed in the same box unless previously arranged. If mixing is necessary, ensure each box is labeled with SKUs and unit counts.
  5. Shrink Wrap
    • 4 wraps around the bottom, 3 wraps around the top.
    • Clear plastic shrink wrap is preferred.
    • Contents must be visible.
    • Tamper-proof security tape is recommended for added protection.
  6. Inventory Counting
    • Full physical counts of inbound inventory will only be conducted by request and are billed as a special project.

Important—Inventory that doesn't meet these requirements may incur special project fees to ensure the necessary adjustments are made smoothly.
