Attention: To ensure a smooth experience and avoid additional charges, please provide Shipping Pilot with at least 2 weeks' notice before any on-site field exercise.

What is a Field Exercise?

A field exercise is any activity that involves non-employees entering the warehouse. This could include:

  • Vendor visits
  • Equipment installations
  • Inventory audits
  • Training sessions (conducted by external parties)

Important Information for Field Exercises:

  • Scheduling: We require a minimum of 2 weeks' advance notice to schedule and staff for your field exercise.
  • Cost: Field exercises will be billed at a special project rate per worker hour.
  • Waivers: All participating personnel (including names, companies, and email addresses) must have signed waivers before the exercise. Please submit this information to your Client Success Manager.
  • Exercise Overview: To ensure a safe and efficient visit, please submit a detailed overview of your field exercise for approval. This will help us understand the scope and requirements of the activity.

Important Note: Shipping Pilot reserves the right to reject any field exercise that does not meet our safety or operational standards.

Benefits of Early Notice:

  • Allows proper staffing and resource allocation.
  • Ensures a smooth approval process for waivers and exercise overview.
  • Avoids last-minute rush charges.
