Setting Up Outbound Freight(LTL/FTL/ETC) in Packiyo

For Business-to-Business (B2B) transactions or non-Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA) freight, a specific protocol exists for efficient routing to the freight team.

Initially, create and package the order adhering to standard procedures. Complete all required information, with particular attention to the designated tag: "SP-freight" is to be utilized for all freight shipments. The notes section can include specific preferences, such as a preferred freight provider, whether client-managed freight services will be utilized, or a request for our team to manage freight arrangements. Following any necessary annotations, finalize the order creation.

For the destination address, input the shipment's final location. The shipment field may be left blank, as the freight team will either initiate contact or adhere to a pre-established Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) developed with the account manager to determine the appropriate carrier.

Complete the order details as per standard order procedures, including itemized product information, such as "1,000 deluxe snowboards and 150 helmets." Upon creation, the order will be marked with the "SP-freight" tag. This tag enables the freight team to filter and identify freight orders, triggering appropriate actions and notifications.

Furthermore, the tagging system allows for client-side order filtering to view all freight movements using the "SP-freight" filter.
